NP - Outpatient Primary Care New

Overview

Key Responsibilities
● Perform medical acts independently in outpatient primary care setting
● Provide comprehensive care to individuals, families, and groups
● Promote health, prevent disease, and support wellness
● Lead and consult within the care team
● Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
● Identify and address specialized teaching and learning needs
● Educate patients to support informed healthcare decisions
● Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment for patients and staff
● Support daily practice operations in a cost-effective manner
● Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Schedule and Shift Details
● Full-time position, 40 hours per week, exempt status. Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour. Not open to LOCUM or LOCUM to PERM candidates. Not open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another position.

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher
• 1+ years of experience with Primary Care
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Vermont (VT) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Vermont (VT) or Pediatric (NP in Vermont (VT) certifications/licenses
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) certifications/licenses
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
• Valid Board Eligible or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certifications/licenses
• Valid APRN certification/license in Vermont (VT)
